Danish Days Collection

Atterdag Kids "Danish Days" exclusive collection of pima cotton baby clothing was inspired by the annual event in Solvang, California. This event celebrates the history of the beautiful town of Solvang where our store is located, and features Danish-style hospitality, folklore and delicious Danish food.  

Traditionally held on the third weekend of September, thousands of visitors come to enjoy this festival and this year, on September 20 - 22, we will celebrate our 77th Danish Days celebration.

This collection was designed by local Solvang artist, Rick Marzullo.   Known worldwide as a master papercutter, he also paints in oil, acrylic and watercolor. In addition to his many folktale, landscape and historically-themed papercuttings, Marzullo has also studied Danish folk costumes and Scandinavian folk arts extensively.
